Our team

Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre is a large practice comprising Khandallah Physiotheraphy and Churton Park Physiotherapy, and all of our team of physiotherapists are well qualified and highly experienced. Our team is committed to continuing education, frequently holding professional development meetings, and regularly attending courses and conferences.

The team has experience mainly in New Zealand practices, but also in practices and hospitals as far afield as London. A number of the team have owned their own practices and all the team are members of Physiotherapy New Zealand, our professional association.

The team works closely with GPs, sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, ACC case managers, whanau, and employers.

Clinical team

Kirsten Davie
Kirsten DavieDip Phys, Dip MT, Adv. Prac. MT, MBA (dist.)
Kirsten is the principal at Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre having started the business in 1992. She is an Advanced Practitioner of Manipulative Therapy. Kirsten has been a past president of Physiotherapy New Zealand and currently assists on the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association's post graduate courses. She is responsible for the strategic management of the business while also performing a clinical role within the practice.

Jill Howard
Jill HowardDip Phys, Dip MT, MPNZ
Jill is the Physiotherapy Manager at Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre. She has over 35 years of experience as a physiotherapist and has owned her own practice for the majority of that time. Prior to joining our team, Jill spent five years as Physiotherapy Advisor at Capital and Coast Health. She is also a past president of Physiotherapy New Zealand and has completed a six-year term on the Physiotherapy Board. Jill works predominantly in a clinical role, with the balance of her time focused on management.

Matt Szeto
Matt SzetoBPhty, BSc (Neuroscience), MPNZ
Matt is a graduate of Otago University, where as a student he was Secretary of the Otago University Physiotherapy Students Association. His main interest is musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation - in particular football injuries. He is a keen footballer, playing Capital Premier here in Wellington, and has previously competed for Wellington at a national level in athletics.

Megan O' Riordan
Megan O' RiordanBSc (Physiotherapy), MPNZ
Megan graduated from Trinity College in Dublin and prior to moving to New Zealand Megan worked in Singapore where she was primarily based in Neurological rehabilitation. Megan's physiotherapy area of interest is in musculoskeletal and sports injuries. She is a very keen sportswoman with a particular interest in Gaelic Football. Megan has worked with various sports teams including rugby and football. She is also a certified Pilate's instructor and enjoys taking exercise classes.

Laura Willson
Laura WillsonBPhty, BSc (Human Nutrition) BPhEd, MPNZ, Senior Physiotherapist
Laura graduated from University of Otago in 2005 with bachelor degrees in Physiotherapy, Physical Education and Human Nutrition. She has worked in private practise and hospitals within New Zealand and Australia. Laura has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and sports injury rehabilitation and has previously worked with provincial sports teams. Outside work Laura keeps active through swimming, mountain biking and keeping up with her two young children.

Kate Lynskey
Kate LynskeyDip Phys, MPNZ
Kate has been a qualified physiotherapist for over 20 years. She has worked mainly in private physiotherapy practices both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Her area of expertise is manual therapy, acupuncture, clinical Pilates and exercise prescription. Kate enjoys working with clients to help them gain their full functional potential while empowering them to maintain an active lifestyle.

Pilates instructor

Manisha Kuchhadiya
Manisha KuchhadiyaWe are excited that Manisha is working with us as a Pilates instructor and exercise therapist. Manisha trained as a physiotherapist in India and completed an internship in the UK. Currently she is NOT registered as a physiotherapist in New Zealand. Manisha has an interest in musculoskeletal and sports related injuries from an exercise perspective. She has learnt principles of Pilates for fitness, well-being and relaxation. As a Pilates instructor she creates and tailors exercises so they suit the needs of the Pilates class participants.
